Limón Fizz

  • oz Don Q Limón rum
  • 1 oz Elderflower liqueur
  • ½ oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Splash Club soda
  • 1 Lemon wheel for garnish
  1. Add the Don Q Limón Rum, liqueur and juice to an ice-filled highball glass. Top with club soda. Garnish with lemon wheel.

Limón Dew

Limón Dew

  • oz Don Q Limón rum
  • oz Pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Melon liqueur
  • 1 Honeydew melon slice for garnish
  • 1 Mint sprig for garnish
  1. Stir Don Q Limón Rum, pineapple juice and ice. Strain into a crushed ice-filled Collins glass. Pour melon liqueur for a layered effect. Garnish with honeydew melon slice and mint sprig.
  2. *Garnish up to discretion

Flores Daiquiri

Flores Daiquiri

  • oz Don Q Limón rum
  • ¼ oz Elderflower liqueur
  • ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz Orange juice
  • ¼ oz Simple syrup *
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1-3 drops Orange flower water
  • 1 Orange peel for garnish
  1. Dry shake the Don Q Limón Rum, juices, liqueur, syrup and egg white. Shake again with ice. Top it with a few drops of orange flower water. Mist with orange peel oil. Garnish with orange peel. Coupe Glass
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
  3. *Garnish up to discretion

Artichoke Balls

Artichoke Balls

  • 1 cup Don Q Limón rum
  • 1 14 oz. can of artichoke hearts drained
  • 1 cup Seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  1. PROCEDURE: Place artichoke hearts in a large mixing bowl and mash thoroughly. Add rum, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic; mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Pour Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish. Form artichoke mixture into balls, and then roll in Parmesan cheese. If desired hot, preheat oven to 400º and place balls on a baking sheet. Cook until light brown. May also be served cold and can be made in advance and frozen. Makes about 3 dozen.

Limón Cajun Shrimp

Limón Cajun Shrimp

  • 1 lb Shrimp (approx. 16 to 20)
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • ¼ cup Don Q Limón rum
  • Juice of 1 lemon and grated peel of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 stick Butter
  1. PROCEDURE: Melt butter and add chopped garlic, rum, lemon juice and black pepper. Brush mixture onto shrimp and grill/broil until light pink. Serve with Mardi Gras Mojo Mojito Sauce and grated lemon peel.

Q Berry Cranberry Sauce

Q Berry Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 cup Don Q Limón rum
  • 4 cups Fresh cranberries
  • 1 can Petite Mandarin oranges (drained)
  • ½ cup Crushed pineapple (drained)
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ½ cup Coarsely chopped pecans (or for a more bitter, less nutty taste, use walnuts)
  • ¼ tsp Ground cloves
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  1. PROCEDURE: In a small saucepan, add Don Q Limón rum and sugars; bring to a boil while stirring. Add cranberries and oranges, and continue to stir. Cranberries will start to burst in 10 minutes. Stir frequently. Add pineapple, nuts, cloves and cinnamon and boil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until batch begins to gel. Cool and serve in a dish. Garnish with cinnamon sticks. Could also be used as a glaze for roasted duck or pork roast.
