Single Barrel Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Don Q Single Barrel, 2007
  • 1 Sugar cube or ½ tsp. sugar
  • 3 Dash of Angostura bitters
  • 1 Orange peel
  • 1 Maraschino cherry
  1. Place the sugar cube or ½ tsp. sugar in an old fashioned glass. Add three dashes of bitters. Muddle the mixture, then swirl to coat inside of glass. Add rum and stir. Add ice and stir again until well chilled. Garnish with orange peel and maraschino cherry.
  2. *Garnish up to discretion

Don Q Piña Daiquiri

Don Q Piña Daiquiri

  • 2 oz Don Q Piña rum
  • ½ oz Sherry Wine
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • ½ oz Simple syrup *
  1. Shake rum, wine juice, simple syrup and ice. Strain into a coupe glass.
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
  3. *Garnish up to discretion

Don Q Bikini Colada

Don Q Bikini Colada

  • 2 oz Don Q Piña rum
  • 2 oz Coconut water
  • ½ oz Lime juice
  • 1 Strawberry slice*
  • One bar spoon Campari
  1. Shake rum, coconut water, juice and ice. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with strawberry slice. As an option, add bar spoon of Campari.
  2. *Garnish up to discretion

Spiced Daiquiri

Spiced Daiquiri

  • oz Don Q Spiced rum
  • oz Lime juice
  • ¾ oz Vanilla Simple Syrup
  • Two Drops of Angostura bitters
  1. Shake rum, juice, syrup, bitters and ice. Strain into a coupe glass.
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
  3. *Garnish up to discretion

Single Barrel Sazerac

Single Barrel Sazerac

  • oz Don Q Signature Release Single Barrel, 2005 rum
  • oz Absinthe
  • ½ oz Simple syrup *
  • 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 Orange twist for garnish
  1. Add the rum, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass that has been rinsed with absinthe. Garnish with an orange twist.
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.

Island Toddy

Island Toddy

  • 2 oz Don Q Gold rum
  • ½ oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 Peel from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 Pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 Lemon wheel for garnish
  1. Dissolve honey with lemon juice. Place a lemon shell and honey lemon mixture in a heat resistant container and add 1/4 cup boiling water; stir for 2 minutes or until honey is dissolved, then add the Don Q Gold Rum. Strain into a mug and grate some nutmeg over it. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Old Fashioned

Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Don Q Gran Reserva rum
  • 1 splash Club soda
  • 1 Sugar cube or ½ tsp. sugar
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 Orange peel for garnish
  • 1 Maraschino cherry for garnish
  1. Place the sugar cube or 1/2 tsp sugar in an old fashioned glass. Add 3 dashes of Angostura bitters and splash of club soda. Muddle the mixture, then add ice. Pour Don Q Gran Reserva and stir until well chilled. Garnish with orange peel and maraschino cherry.
  2. *Garnish up to discretion

Manhattan

Manhattan

  • 2 oz Don Q Gran Añejo rum
  • 1 splash Club soda
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 oz Sweet vermouth
  • 1 Maraschino cherry for garnish
  1. Add crushed ice and club soda to a cocktail glass and set aside. Add Don Q Gran Añejo, vermouth, bitters and ice to a mixing glass. Stir until well chilled. Discard ice and club soda from cocktail glass. Strain into the couple glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
  2. *Garnish up to discretion

Coquito

Coquito

  • 1 cup Don Q Cristal
  • 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz Evaporated milk
  • oz Cream of Coconut
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground nutmeg
  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender at high speed. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Shake well and serve cold in small glasses. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Daisy de Santiago

Daisy de Santiago

  • 2 oz Don Q Cristal rum
  • 2 oz Lime juice
  • tsp Simple syrup *
  • 1 oz Chartreuse
  • 1 splash Club soda
  • 1 sprig Mint for garnish
  • 1 wedge Lime for garnish
  1. Fill a large rocks glass with crushed or shaved ice. In a bar glass, add the rum, lime and syrup; stir well and pour over the ice into the glass; stir once more and garnish with mint and a lime wedge. Float the yellow Chartreuse. A splash of club soda adds a sparkle.
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
