Single Barrel Sazerac
- 2½ oz Don Q Signature Release Single Barrel, 2005 rum
- ⅛ oz Absinthe
- ½ oz Simple syrup *
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- 1 Orange twist for garnish
- Add the rum, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass that has been rinsed with absinthe. Garnish with an orange twist.
- *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
